Morris MV-715 Vangaurd Series - Acoustic Guitar

Morris MV-715 Vangaurd Series - Acoustic Guitar

Up for sale is a super rare completely hand-built all solid model from 1982 with some very very fine-grained Indian Rosewood and old-growth Ezo Spruce with tight grain and lots of rays.

When you find a Morris guitar from the 70's and 80's that doesn't have those huge hexagon abalone inlays on the fret board then you have to pay close attention. These types of acoustics almost always are created for the tone alone......That means all the effort and money went into the sound of this Morris Vanguard MV-715.

Have a listen

The Vanguard Series was a rare line in 1981- 1984. This model of the top tier is second only to the MV-730.  Unbelievable quality is found in these Vanguard series.
This model is very bold, focused, supremely resonant, and clear. The hand-shaped bracing is straight vs scalloped which provides these attributes. It has a very high quality build structure with wood and cloth side supports to buttress the solid Rosewood sides. New strings and setup for immediate comfortable pIaying.

This MV-715 is a rare one, sought after but not often seen available.

Cosmetic condition it is very good with no damage and minimal marks. It is basically a closet find un-played status it is that nice. It has no clouding, wear, absolutely no structural damage to speak of. There is a small mark here and there, one scratch on the bottom, but mostly negligible especially for its age.

Frets are great, nicely rounded, and fret very well. No serious wear at all that I can see. Plays easily without buzzes or deadness all the way up the neck. Intonation spot on. Neck is satin finish and very comfortable.
